STANDARD H x StrapHabit Watch Straps

StrapHabit and STANDARD H first crossed paths at Windup NY in 2022. Wesley threw out the idea of collaborating on a watch strap, but neither of us had just the right idea. We've regularly kept in touch ever since then and Nick was even a guest on The STANDARD H Podcast.
Wesley recently started the Instagram page @taupestrapclub, and we decided that color would be perfect for collaboration! Now we've added a versatile black option as well.
STANDARD H describes its apparel as "elevated basics." With that in mind, we developed an elevated basic watch strap. What better than a simple and durable military-style pass-through?
To signify the meeting of both brands, a subtle "SH" is laser engraved on the buckle.
A small batch of 20mm straps sold out in one day on the STANDARD H website (and was even featured on Hodinkee). We decided to produce another run in 20mm and 22mm, and offer them on both sites.

SBWC x StrapHabit Sailcloth Watch Straps

StrapHabit has teamed up with Sketchy Boyz Watch Club to bring you our latest collaboration strap!
I first learned about SBWC through the olive Divecore SBWC straps. The club is a multinational group of professional end-users, primarily from the military and law enforcement, sharing their takes on all things horological. They exist to help those within those communities and those adjacent have a viable resource for experience-based reviews and a space to share their own stories and experiences.
They bring together military personnel, law enforcement officers, and watch enthusiasts from all walks of life. Whether you're training for LSCO, jocking up for your patrol, or roughing it out in the backcountry; whether you're a cop or a soldier, you have a use case and are an end user who is welcome at SBWC.
After learning more about the group, I wanted to see if we could do more with them! We worked together to design this Tiger Stripe Camo version of our Premium Sailcloth straps. 30% of all sales will go to support SBWC.
A green, brown, and black camo pattern is accented by black stitching and black synthetic leather reinforcement.
The black synthetic leather backing has the brand's motto "TEMPUS IUNGIT OMNIA" debossed, meaning Time Connects Everything.
The straps feature quick-release spring bars, one fixed and one floating keeper. The buckles use polished and brushed finishes.

The outer material is nylon sailcloth. It is softer than canvas and has a slight shine. The material is strong but softens over time to fit your wrist.

Nylon Pass-Through Charity Watch Strap for Cancer Research
By now, many of you know that a few months after the inception of StrapHabit, I learned that I had testicular cancer. Although I was very lucky that it was caught early, that experience shifted the way that I look at life and what I value most. Although it was a difficult time, it taught me that sharing my story with others is a powerful tool for raising awareness and money to help others. Unfortunately, in the years since then, I've seen more and more loved ones experience their own battles with cancer.
In an effort to leverage the brand's reach to support those facing their own battles, StrapHabit has partnered with friends to support several charities. I've sold a lot of straps and raised a lot of money (around $75,000 as of mid 2026), but I haven't put any of my own sweat into it.
I had a few local customers in Columbus, Ohio, call me out for not participating in Pelotonia, a massive annual bike ride that raises money for cancer research. When the ride added a mountain bike portion this year, I officially ran out of excuses. Mountain biking is my favorite sport, so I felt that I had to do it. My son's mountain bike group put together a team for parents, so I even have a great group of partners to practice with.
As a result, on October 3rd, I'll be riding 24 trail miles, a distance I haven't ridden in years. I've been more focused on fitness since I started doing StrapHabit full-time, so I'm sure I can do it! And of course I'll be wearing one of these straps. For each strap sold, StrapHabit will donate $35 to Pelotonia. 100% of funds donated to Pelotonia go directly to innovative cancer research at the OSUCCC James Cancer Treatment and Research Center.

The strap is a nylon pass-through strap with amazing graphics designed by Matt Smith-Johnson (a.k.a. Teenage Grandpa). It features a repeating pattern of the Pelotonia logo, creating a camouflage appearance. The logo is also reminiscent of a field watch arrow, but turned on its side. The Pelotonia name is hidden on the inside of the strap, and the buckle features subtle StrapHabit engraving.
This is the same premium pass-through nylon strap we use in some of your other favorite StrapHabit collaborations, now featuring the Pelotonia arrow in a repeating, camouflage pattern.
