Our StrapHabit elastic watch straps are the most comfortable on the market! The elastic design securely holds the watch to your wrist but allows it to expand and contract as your wrist changes size with temperature throughout the day.
The material is elastic marine nationale parachute style, but the straps have a traditional military style dual pass design. It has 3 keepers, one of which is floating. We find this design more comfortable, plus it allows the strap to be swapped without removing the spring bars. We also find them easier to take on and off and adjust to your wrist.
Really impressed with this strap. The elastic nylon has just the right amount of stretch to make it extremely comfortable without feeling loose or flimsy, and the fabric is light and breathable on the wrist. The hardware feels substantial and nicely finished, and the black-and-tan stripe looks fantastic on a tool or dive watch.
This was my first real experience with an elastic NATO-style strap, and after getting used to the traditional NATO threading and tuck, I really enjoy wearing it. Comfortable, well made, secure, and just plain cool looking. Very happy with it.
The strap is extremely comfortable and stylish. I am very pleased. The pairing with my Alpinist turned out even better than I expected.

These do the job for sure...but I have some reservations about longevity that prevent a 5 star score. They seem a little less robust than other straps I've purchased from SH previously.

I had ordered one of these last month and really struggled with it, the material was too thick to fit the pass through loops. Nick reached out and explained he had received a bad batch and immediately sent me a new one. Love. Just ordered three new different types of straps and will post reviews when they arrive.
Very disappointed with this strap.
I really struggled to make the end of the strap fit through the pass-through. The end became frayed and impossible to pass through, requiring me to trim and heat the ends. I’ve tried every way I can to make this work, but it is so annoying to use that I’ve given up on it.

Very sharp looking hardware, bright color. My only critique is the keepers can be difficult when folding back the excess strap, sort of pulling and turning makes it easier to tuck away the excess but it's not easy.

I purchased this band after trying a handful of other brands, I wasn’t satisfied with any of them. This one was different stretchy and very comfortable, easy to take on and off. I ordered two more in different color combinations. very happy

Several months back I switched to using NATO watch bands for all my watches. Just like the comfort and certainty they provide. After buying a number of different NATOs in various colors I discovered Straphabit's line of elastic NATOs. Once I tried them I had to go all the way. So my new obsession has started and like so many reviewers have described, these elastic NATOs are much more comfortable and convenient. My question is: Are they as durable in the long run? Does the stretch last in any environment? Are these straps as rugged and durable as their non-stretch versions? Will they holdup with constant exposure to saltwater and sun? I guess we will see over time. Until then I am a convert.
I ordered a 20mm strap when I should have ordered a 22 mm strap. The strap is of high quality and looks great. My mistake in measuring.
Does the strap cover the back of the watch (i.e., would it cover a heart rate sensor)?
Yes, this strap covers the back of the watch. I'd recommend any of our 2-piece straps.
