StrapHabit has teamed up with our local friends at Esoteric Car Care to provide a complete crystal protection kit for your watch.
The kit includes 8mil thick automotive-grade Xpel film precision cut to fit your watch crystal, plus everything needed to easily install it.
Included with the kit:
-Precision cut 8mil Xpel film
-Alcohol wipes
-Slip spray solution with spray bottle
-Small squeegee
-Microfiber cloth
Esoteric is the premier source for automotive detailing. As experts in paint protection film, they have chosen Xpel as the preferred PPF. Its superior protection will keep your favorite watch crystal scratch-free.
Installation Instructions (see the photos for support):
1. Clean the crystal with alcohol wipes and let dry
2. Spray the crystal and your fingers with the slip solution.*
*(This prevents your fingers from sticking to or contaminating the adhesive)
3. Peel off film backing
4. Apply the film to the wet crystal
5. Using the squeegee, seat the film to the crystal and push out any air pockets and excess slip solution
6. Position the film on the center of the crystal
7. Remove excess slip solution using the microfiber cloth
8. Confirm that the film is still centered
9. Avoid touching the film for a few hours until the film dries. 1-2 days are required for the film to fully cure.

8mil thickness = 0.008 inches (0.2mm)
