StrapHabit FKM Rubber Quick Release Hybrid Watch Straps are made of genuine FKM rubber. They feel nearly as soft and flexible as silicone but are much stronger, and resistant to picking up fuzz or cracking, plus it is waterproof and sweat-proof.

Military-Style Nylon Pass-Through Watch Strap
The Blade HQ x StrapHabit Dessert Warrior Watch strap is constructed from durable nylon in a military-style dual-pass-through design. The official Dessert Warrior pattern is printed on the nylon. You'll find the Blade HQ logo laser-engraved on the buckle, and StrapHabit on one of the keepers. All of the hardware is PVD-coated in blue or pink, inspired by the blue and pink blades on the knives.
So what are these things?
Recently, photos of knives with a rainbow-sprinkle pattern and colored blades have been popping up on my social media feeds. The frosting pattern printed on a utilitarian tool was such a fun juxtaposition that I wanted to know more! The idea originated at popular knife seller Blade HQ, which sold a knife called the "Desert Warrior." People loved them, but autocorrect took over, and Blade HQ started receiving inquiries for the Dessert Warrior. The brand loves to have fun and decided to run with the funny error. It turned out to be even more popular than the original knives, with the knives often selling out upon release.
As far as StrapHabit's involvement, it pays to have friends, as it was a collaborative effort across several channels. Random Rob first suggested the idea, which I thought was super fun! Rather than create a sprinkle pattern strap, I wanted to collaborate with the originators. I reached out to a long-time friend of StrapHabit, Levon of the Knife Nuts Podcast. He helped bridge the connection with Blade HQ, and the rest was history!

Horween Chromexcel Leather Watch Straps

StrapHabit brings you watch straps crafted from Chromexcel leather sourced at the Chicago-based Horween tannery. Chromexcel is widely regarded as a top choice of leather for a watch strap. It offers supreme durability, yet feels exceptionally soft and supple to the touch, almost buttery-smooth. The straps are padded, but still quite flexible.
These straps also deliver a character that improves with age. Chromexcel's vegetable tanning process uses a proprietary blend of oils and waxes to create a naturally water-resistant surface that develops a rich patina over time. The oils provide comfort while resisting cracking and premature wear, and also add a unique personality to your timepiece. The result is a "pull-up" effect that shifts colors as the strap is folded or flexed. Minor scratches can also be rubbed off thanks to this effect.

Curved Spring Bars

Curved spring bars with 0.8mm tips that are 1.5mm thick in the center. These provide more clearance to the case on watches with tight lug spacing.
Standard spring bars sit straight across between the lugs, which can make strap changes difficult on watches where the lug openings sit close to the case. Curved spring bars arch away from the case, creating the extra room needed to slide a strap in and out without scratching or forcing it. These are a common need on watches with short lugs or factory-curved spring bars, such as Ming and similar models where the lugs curve inward toward the case back.
Each set includes 2 spring bars. Available in 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm.
We recommend pairing these with StrapHabit straps that have thinner edges for maximum clearance, including Ridge, Smooth, Vented, Slim Ridge, and Deployant Rubber straps. They also work well with single-pass styles like Elastic, Seatbelt, and FKM Rubber Pass Through straps.

Why you need it. Swatch installs the NATO straps on the Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms using screws rather than spring bars. Pass-through straps like our Elastic Straps or Adjustable Straps are easy and quick to swap in without any tools.
For two-piece straps, two special hex drivers are required to remove the screw bars. StrapHabit has your back with a set of two gold anodized screwdrivers built exactly for this.
What's included. A set of two gold anodized hex screwdrivers, CNC machined with spinning caps on the end to make them easy to hold and spin with one in each hand.
Once the screw bars are removed, a two-piece strap can be installed. The lug width is 21.7mm so most 22mm rubber straps will fit.
If your strap includes built-in quick-release spring bars (as StrapHabit straps do), the spring bars must first be removed. This is easy on our rubber straps by carefully stretching the rubber. On other straps, it requires cutting the spring bar and is more difficult.

The material is elastic marine nationale parachute style, but the straps have a traditional military style dual pass design. It has 3 keepers, one of which is floating. We find this design more comfortable, plus it allows the strap to be swapped without removing the spring bars. We also find them easier to take on and off and adjust to your wrist.
