When designer Matt Smith-Johnson (a.k.a. Teenage Grandpa) and Blake Malin of Worn and Wound told me about their campaign to support the Ride to Conquer Cancer, I was more than excited to have the opportunity to help! I'm a cyclist and have experienced cancer, plus I love making cool watch straps.
Matt and I worked together to design a strap that included all of the colors of the team kit and had a fun Worn and Wound attitude. These straps will be provided to team riders, but you can also support the team by purchasing one for yourself. $23 from the sale of each strap will go to support RTCC.

Our StrapHabit sailcloth straps are durable and look fantastic! The quick-release spring bars allow you to swap straps in seconds without tools.
Includes a short (115mm) and long (125mm) tail strap.
The outer material is nylon sailcloth. It is softer than canvas and has a slight shine. The material is strong but softens to form to your wrist after wearing it for a short time. The inner lining that touches your wrist is comfortable synthetic leather.

People often talk about “strap monsters.” This strap is a watch monster, and honestly one of the most comfortable ones I own.
Yes- cancer is bad. I support finding the cure. I am living with Lymphoma. However, this watch band sucks. It has sharp places on the strap and hardware. Life is too short to have to “break in” a $30 band. Glad to donate. Will not be repping.
Hi Ricky, I'm sorry that the strap didn't meet expectations, and even more sorry to hear about your struggle. I haven't had other customers resport sharp edges, so I'm not sure what happened with your strap. If you would like to exchange it for something else, please reply via email as I want everyone to be fully satisfied.
