These straps are NOT silicone, they are genuine FKM rubber. They feel nearly as soft and flexible as silicone, but are much stronger, and resistant to picking up fuzz, or cracking. They can be completely folded, twisted, and bent without stretching or cracking.
Compared to traditional vulcanized rubber, FKM adds increased durability, chemical and heat resistance.

I guess the perfect strap does not exist, but this one is very close. The material is thick and comfortable, and the quality is there both top and bottom. Alas, the width is a mm shy, and leaves the spring bar exposed at one lug.

Deployant FKM Rubber Quick Release Watch Straps

The deployant design means that the tail end of the strap is captured and will not flop around. A polished buckle with twin-triggers keeps your watch secure, but is quick to take on and off.

A brushed steel buckle with twin triggers keeps your watch secure but is quick to take on and off.The outer material is recycled PET woven in a sailcloth-style pattern. The material is strong but softens up to the shape of your wrist after wearing it for a short time. Compared to our Premium Sailcloth straps, it has a higher-quality feel.
The inner lining that touches your wrist is comfortable and water-resistant synthetic leather. The strap also features a mild inner padding made from an additional layer of synthetic leather.
