These straps are not silicone. FKM rubber feels nearly as soft and flexible as silicone but is much stronger. Resistant to fuzz, cracking, odor, sweat, and water. They can be completely folded without stretching or cracking.

StrapHabit Leather and FKM Rubber Quick Release Hybrid Watch Straps combine the best elements of two of our most popular styles of watch straps.
They feature the high-end appearance of our leather straps combined with the numerous benefits of our FKM rubber straps.
The leather is genuine calfskin, which is soft to the touch, and high-end in appearance. It also has an Epsom pattern embossed, similar to our standard leather straps.
The inner FKM surface features channels to cool the wrist, and attractive StrapHabit branding molded in.
They feature quick-release spring bars for easy, tool-free strap changes. Two keepers hold the end of the strap securely in place, with tabs to secure the first keeper. Thirteen adjustment holes mean that these straps should fit well on any size wrist.
The inner lining is genuine FKM rubber. They feel nearly as soft and flexible as silicone but are much stronger, and resistant to picking up fuzz or cracking, plus it is waterproof and sweat-proof.

StrapHabit and STANDARD H first crossed paths at Windup NY in 2022. Wesley threw out the idea of collaborating on a watch strap, but neither of us had just the right idea. We've regularly kept in touch ever since then and Nick was even a guest on The STANDARD H Podcast.
Wesley recently started the Instagram page @taupestrapclub, and we decided that color would be perfect for collaboration! Now we've added a versatile black option as well.
STANDARD H describes its apparel as "elevated basics." With that in mind, we developed an elevated basic watch strap. What better than a simple and durable military-style pass-through?
To signify the meeting of both brands, a subtle "SH" is laser engraved on the buckle.
A small batch of 20mm straps sold out in one day on the STANDARD H website (and was even featured on Hodinkee). We decided to produce another run in 20mm and 22mm, and offer them on both sites.

I first learned about SBWC through the olive Divecore SBWC straps. The club is a multinational group of professional end-users, primarily from the military and law enforcement, sharing their takes on all things horological. They exist to help those within those communities and those adjacent have a viable resource for experience-based reviews and a space to share their own stories and experiences.
They bring together military personnel, law enforcement officers, and watch enthusiasts from all walks of life. Whether you're training for LSCO, jocking up for your patrol, or roughing it out in the backcountry; whether you're a cop or a soldier, you have a use case and are an end user who is welcome at SBWC.
After learning more about the group, I wanted to see if we could do more with them! We worked together to design this Tiger Stripe Camo version of our Premium Sailcloth straps. 30% of all sales will go to support SBWC.
