StrapHabit and STANDARD H first crossed paths at Windup NY in 2022. Wesley threw out the idea of collaborating on a watch strap, but neither of us had just the right idea. We've regularly kept in touch ever since then and Nick was even a guest on The STANDARD H Podcast. Wesley recently started the Instagram page @taupestrapclub, and we decided that color would be perfect for collaboration! Now we've added a versatile black option as well. STANDARD H describes its apparel as "elevated basics." With that in mind, we developed an elevated basic watch strap. What better than a simple and durable military-style pass-through? To signify the meeting of both brands, a subtle "SH" is laser engraved on the buckle. A small batch of 20mm straps sold out in one day on the STANDARD H website (and was even featured on Hodinkee). We decided to produce another run in 20mm and 22mm, and offer them on both sites.

Genuine rubber two piece watch strap with quick release springbars. Available in 20mm and 22mm widths. Two floating keepers shaped to match the strap ridges. Eight adjustment holes mean that these straps should fit well on any size wrist. The end keeper features a tab to secure the end of the strap from moving around. Our StrapHabit Rubber straps are extremely durable, and comfortable. The deep colors look fantastic! Quick release springbars allow you to quickly swap straps in seconds without tools. These straps are NOT silicone, they are genuine FKM rubber. They feel nearly as soft and flexible as silicone, but are much stronger, and resistant to picking up fuzz, or cracking. In the photos, you can see how flexible that they are, and that they can be completely folded without stretching or cracking. Compared to traditional vulcanized rubber, FKM adds increased durability, chemical and heat resistance.

StrapHabit has teamed up with Sketchy Boyz Watch Club to bring you our latest collaboration strap! I first learned about SBWC through the olive Divecore SBWC straps. The club is a multinational group of professional end-users, primarily from the military and law enforcement, sharing their takes on all things horological. They exist to help those within those communities and those adjacent have a viable resource for experience-based reviews and a space to share their own stories and experiences. They bring together military personnel, law enforcement officers, and watch enthusiasts from all walks of life. Whether you're training for LSCO, jocking up for your patrol, or roughing it out in the backcountry; whether you're a cop or a soldier, you have a use case and are an end user who is welcome at SBWC. After learning more about the group, I wanted to see if we could do more with them! We worked together to design this Tiger Stripe Camo version of our Premium Sailcloth straps. 30% of all sales will go to support SBWC. A green, brown, and black camo pattern is accented by black stitching and black synthetic leather reinforcement. The black synthetic leather backing has the brand's motto "TEMPUS IUNGIT OMNIA" debossed, meaning Time Connects Everything. The straps feature quick-release spring bars, one fixed and one floating keeper. The buckles use polished and brushed finishes. Includes a short (115mm) and long (125mm) tail strap. The outer material is nylon sailcloth. It is softer than canvas and has a slight shine. The material is strong but softens over time to fit your wrist.

Very nice clasp and works as advertised

Installed easily, though I did need to remove additional links to compensate for it being longer than the original clasp. Does the job well, the increments of lengthening are excellent and gives a good set of “steps” to a changing wrist size throughout a hot day. You can intrusive without even taking the watch off the wrist. To reduce size, it’s easier to unclasp, adjust and re-close the clasp. The only minor critique I would offer is that the ends are a little sharp - not that it fits in anywhere on your skin - but a little additional finishing here would be excellent

Major Upgrade

First let me say: I wish there was a two tone jubilee. But this will do just fine. It is a huge upgrade from the original bracelet. I am thoroughly impressed with how good this looks.

I've Found My New Go-to Premium Strap!

A high quality, comfortable sailcloth strap needn't cost over two hundred bucks. I was buying the um... Australian product, until I found a great-looking strap in the perfect shade of army green for my Seiko Willard at StrapHabit. When my order arrived, I was pleased to find that it looked even better in person. The quality of manufacture is excellent, and it wears as comfortably as the "down under" brand. Good One!

I really like this strap. I am a watch guy, and I have tried to stop buying new watches and instead buying new straps for the watches I own. This scratches the itch for me, and I like to experiment with different styles and colors. This one for me is definitely a winner and I plan to get it in other colors.

A fantastic option

Watch straps can be hit or miss as it is, add in a deployment clasp and it gets really dodgy. This strap checks off all the boxes. Plenty of holes to find the right fit. If your wrist happens to be on the smaller side, the strap comes with a shorter option to swap out. The deployment clasp is solid and doesn’t have rattle. Also, the finishing on the clasp is done well. The strap itself self has the perfect amount of padding so you really don’t have a “break in” period.
