Happy Customer

I bought this strap in blue for my Seiko5 when the original strap gave up the ghost. This is a very high quality strap that looks great. The leather is soft and feels great on the wrist from day 1. Would buy again without hesitation.

Strapalicious!

This strap is so dang comfy and supple straight out of the package, literally no break in required! So far I've only worn it on my Sinn 556 I, but with the quick release spring bars it'll find its way on other watches in the collection as well. Hope to see more Horween leather straps in different variations in the future as I'm officially a fan!

The Blue leather strap really works!

The Blue leather strap looks and feels great on my Sinn 556. Just the right amount of padding and flexibility. The blue is quite dark in some lights and makes a subtle contrast to the glossy black dial. Very pleased,

I think I’m finally giving up…

I think I’m finally giving up on blue leather. I know that it’s dyed because cows don’t come in blue, but I would have expected a high-quality Horween leather strap to be more true to color. In the package, flat and unused it’s “navy-ish”, but once it’s flexed around the wrist and worn any at all, the blue starts to look more “green”. I have had this exact same experience with other cheaper bands from Amazon and the like, but didn’t expect it from a band costing over $60. So yeah, I’m disappointed in the product. The strap, stitching, clasp, etc are quality, and I’m assuming the brown and black are just fine.

Hi Eric, I'm glad you found the strap to be of good quality, but I'm sorry the blue color didn't meet expectations. I included in the listing some photos of my personal blue strap to try to show what it looks like after wear. Due to the nature of Horween Chromexcel, all straps will experience some color shift, with the blue revealing more of the natural leather color. I personally think it looks great, as I like the patina look, but I understand it is not for everyone. As you said, the black and brown straps pick up a lighter hue of the same tint. Please email back if you would like to exchange it for a different color or for one of our Epsom-style leather straps, which don't exhibit patina as Chromexcel does.

Do they have quick release pins?
If not. I have never tried, would it be possible to use quick release pins?

StrapHabit

Yes, quick release springbars are pre-installed.

Do these straps taper down any? Say from 20mm to 18 or 16mm?

StrapHabit

They all have a 2mm taper. 20mm straps have 18mm buckles, and 22mm straps have 20mm buckles. Please see the specifications tab for this and more information.

What are the lengths and will they be available in a long length?

StrapHabit

These straps are 80/120mm. Please see the specifications tab for more info. As these are a new product, a plan for additional lengths or sizes has not been created yet.
