These straps are NOT silicone, they are genuine FKM rubber. They feel nearly as soft and flexible as silicone, but are much stronger, and resistant to picking up fuzz, or cracking. In the photos, you can see how flexible that they are, and that they can be completely folded without stretching or cracking.
Compared to traditional vulcanized rubber, FKM adds increased durability, chemical and heat resistance.

Why would you send me a strap with spring bars that don't extend pass the strap? How is there supposed to be any tension for the spring bars to attach to the holes in the watch. Spring bars were laughably too short. So yeah nothing was EASY about putting this on. Now I have to spend extra money because of your fuck up. I knew I should have spent the extra money and bought from strap code smh.
Hello Joey, I'm sorry that this strap had a problem! It sounds like there was an assembly issue and the wrong size spring bars were installed. Next time please email us first as we prefer to avoid cursing on our website. We have a lifetime warranty and stand by all of our products. We will take care of this at no cost to you and get a replacement sent out ASAP.

I ordered a couple of the FKM rubber straps in red and I'm very pleased with them. I thought they were going to be stiff, but they're not. They're flexible and they feel durable at the same time. It just feels like a premium strap which is why I'm surprised at how inexpensive they are. I looked around at other sites and they were offering the same straps at 2X the price. I definitely will be ordering more in the near future in different colors.
