Recently, photos of knives with a rainbow-sprinkle pattern and colored blades have been popping up on my social media feeds. The frosting pattern printed on a utilitarian tool was such a fun juxtaposition that I wanted to know more! The idea originated at popular knife seller Blade HQ, which sold a knife called the "Desert Warrior." People loved them, but autocorrect took over, and Blade HQ started receiving inquiries for the Dessert Warrior. The brand loves to have fun and decided to run with the funny error. It turned out to be even more popular than the original knives, with the knives often selling out upon release. As for StrapHabit's involvement, it paid off to have friends, since it was a collaborative effort across several channels. Random Rob first suggested the idea, which I thought was super fun!
