I'm not sure if it's a trend or a coincidence, but I have been seeing more and more ring watches recently. Around the time that I reviewed Casio's ring watch, the CRW-001, my wife also bought a few ring watches on eBay. At Windup NY this year, Fossil had several watch rings alongside its standard watches, so I decided to take one home for my wife. When I picked up this gold model with a green dial, the salesperson told me that there were only three left, so I purchased it.

Details and Wearing the Fossil Green Ring Watch
The ring watch features a gold-tone coating on the stainless steel case. The dial is a deep green with a sunburst pattern and fumé finish. My Nodus Canyon watch has a silver case, but the dial would be a great match and does have some gold highlights.

Fossil Green Ring Watch Strap
This version of the Fossil Ring Watch features a stretchy band with stainless steel links. It's designed to fit larger fingers, but should fit a wide range due to how much it expands.

Fossil Green Ring Watch Movement
A basic two-hand quartz movement powers the Fossil Ring Watch. It uses an SR516SW battery, but the battery life is not listed on the Fossil website. Unlike the Casio Ring Watch, it looks easy to remove the caseback for replacement.

Fossil Green Ring Watch Conclusion
This version of the Fossil Green Ring watch is one of a limited edition of 1792. The Nick Jonas connection didn't mean anything to us, but the watch looks attractive and is a fun accessory. At $150, it's not a great value, but it's moot since it's sold out on the Fossil site anyway.
